Helping others who are grieving

There are some simple things that you can do in order to help someone who is grieving;

  • Offer to pick up family and friends coming to the funeral
  • Offer out-of-town family members or friends a place to stay
  • Cook meals for the family and take them to their home
  • Offer to clean their house, put on the washing, etc
  • Take their children out to give them some space and to keep the kids occupied
  • Walk their dog when they are unable to
